BERTHAS STORY:

Bertha came to me as a 5.5 month old puppy in 2018. She was originally booked in for one night boarding and also to sign up for daycare & walks as her owners were both professionals who worked full time. Being a puppy, it was important she was introduced to the groups in a calm, safe manner. 
I spent time working on her recall using positive reinforcement in the form of treats.

Bertha also learned from the group, as a puppy she soaked everything up. She learned to interact and play with other dogs in a correct manner & has made friends for life in some of the dogs she goes walking with. Once they hit the beach the fun she has with them is great to watch.

Bertha is now a well mannered, balanced dog who loves mixing with other dogs, has excellent recall, loves to run really fast and loves chasing or being chased. She keeps everyone in the group exercised & entertained & I just love having her.

I have been using Kate's service for nearly three years now. Our dog Bertha started going to Kate when she was still a puppy. The main reason we use Kates service is because I work full time and my partner works away from home for a good portion of the year so we need to ensure Bertha is getting her daily walk and socialisation with other dogs when we are at work.

We really rely on Kate and trust her implicitly. As a result of being with Kate and other dogs on a regular basis Bertha is very well socialised and really does have a home from home when she stays with Kate overnight when we go away. Kate offers an excellent service picking up Bertha and taking her for a long walk. She ensures she groups her dogs according to their size and ability in order to ensure they are all at the same level when out walking. She will not let a dog off lead unless she can rely on good recall.

When Bertha stays with Kate she is looked after so well. We get updates on how she is doing with photographs which always bring a smile to our face when we are away.

Most importantly when I get home after a long day at work I have a tired and happy dog and when we go away we know Bertha is getting the best care. Kate is a trained veterinary nurse with a lot of experience and is very helpful if we ever need to run anything by her in relation to Bertha's health.

In short she is a huge support to us and I can't recommend her services highly enough.
