A little case study on how my house visits can hugely benefit you & your animals.

Background:
I have been minding Tara’s crew for the last six years. It started off minding their two beautiful dogs Otis & Tinky who are an absolute dream to mind. Along came ponies Noah, Custard & Tyson, a little pug puppy called poppy and last but not least two rescue hens were added to the family. Having a diverse range of animals all with different needs, it’s hard to find someone to cover all of them. Owning 5 horses myself, I know how hard it can be finding someone experienced to care for them if I go away.

Tara’s ponies have access to outdoors during the day and in stables at night. Like any animal, they have their own personalities so I take the time to get to know them all. At this stage, I have been minding them for so many years it is like minding my own animals. During the day, the horses routine is mucking out, changing rugs, turning out ponies & bringing them back in, feeding, filling haynets & topping up water. The three dogs all enjoy long walks with me & love the comfort of staying in their own home. Tinky, who is 12, has never stayed away from home before & is nervous around other dogs.

The hens are allowed free range during the day, their feed is topped up as is their water, and some little treats given throughout the day. They must be securely locked into their coop in the evening so they are safe from mr fox ????
Home visits is an excellent option especially if you have older dogs that prefer staying at home, if you one horses & don’t want to rely on friends or family to have to mind them when your away, or if you own chickens, cats, etc.
The service is tailored to your animals individual needs so it’s not one size fits all. If you have any questions about house visits and how it works send me a PM or a call to discuss further.

Testimonial:
I would highly recommend Kate if you are looking for a throughly competent, kind and caring person to look after your animals. We have 3 ponies, 3 dogs and 2 chickens. Kate has always taken care of them with the same level of attention as we would. We trust Kate implicitly to look after all of their needs when we’re away. In fact, it could be said that our furry family are more excited to see Kate than us! Whether it’s specific feeding needs medication or cuddles, we know that Kate will carry out any instructions diligently. It is reassuring that Kate will always be available if we have any queries about our animals when we are away from home.
